ABSTRACT
Argument as well as its role, i.e, the role of argumentation in human life , is
the most fundamental concept in our study of critical thinking. it could either be strong
or weak argumentation, causal arguments, analogical arguments, and arguments based
on generalizations. The significance of arguments to critical thinking makes it
important for all of us to understand the term, and its relationship to some of
the basic language of the critical thinking course of human life. The context of mediation immediately highlights the importance of argumentation as a means to reasonably handle conflict. Argumentation in human life in dispute mediation tackles this
topic providing both theoretical insights and detailed empirical argumentative analysis. Its goal is twofold: to explore mediation as a real-life context of argumentation and to show how an increased argumentative awareness could improve conflict resolution. Particular emphasis is accorded to mapping argumentation, and discussing the role of argumentation in Human Life through an interdisciplinary reasoned review of existing accounts.
In this paper
we investigate the overriding importance, the distinguishable roles which
argumentation has played in human life over time. it is basically an espouse' in to the role of argumentation in human life.
INTRODUCTION
The word
"argument" is often used in everyday language to refer to a heated
dispute, a quarrel, a shouting match. Please take note that we will not be
using argument in this sense throughout this course. Instead,
"argument," as we will be using the term refers to "a set of
propositions, or statements, which are designed to convince a reader or
listener of a claim, or conclusion, and which include at least one reason
(premise) for accepting the conclusion." our inquiry would lead us to the next section, "what is
the role of argumentation in Human Life". this would lead perhaps rest the quest as to whether or not the role of argumentation in Human Lif is indeed a toughtful premise of human concern.
