IntroductionPurpose of the Book
The book, “THE ADVENTURERS” is a well suited drama which poses in-built classical ingredients that qualify it for a reading text anytime and anywhere with
the overriding theme of corrupt traditionalism versus reformative modernism encapsulated in systematic revolutionary sensitization as enunciated in the concerted crusade of Ojuaye and Group against the political bewitchment hatched by Oyuneye and Ilasiwaju.

Content
The book, “The Adventurers” is a one hundred and twenty-four (124) paged drama divided into three parts viz; the gathering storm, voice in the wilderness and darkness descends. Each of the parts is composed of scenes totaling nine (9) In all, well articulated to reflect upon the theme of each part and the overall construct of the book.
Preceding the first part of the book is the cover pages, acknowledgement, foreword, preface, and a section where the different characters used in the play are detailed with their roles and meanings well spelt.
A glossary follows the last scene followed by the author’s biography at the back in brief. On the whole, the themes in the book are that of political bewitchment, corrupt African (and Nigerian) traditionalism, money interplay as well as reformative modernism. It is a play meant to not only portray the typical scenario of Nigerian politics, but also a clarion call to national awakening.

Organization of Contents
The first thirteen (13) pages of the book covers the preambles, while the last two pages take care of the authors biography, briefly. These preambles include the cover pages, acknowledgement, foreword, preface, and a section describing the functionalities of each member of the cast. Between pages fourteen (14) and one hundred and twenty-two (122) is the main section of the book, where the author portrays a typical Nigerian, nay African political bewitchment and corrupt traditionalism. There are three parts in all, each of which are subdivided into four (4), three (3) and two (2) scenes respectively.
Part one
Part one is titled, “the gathering storm”. This is where the play begins with scene one. It is set in the palace of the deceased king. Characters here include, ariro, atanda, oyuneye and the head hunter. Being a solidarity rite to accord the departed king a befitting burial, it has become a fertile ground for breeding political initiative and forestalling ideas for political emanticipation by Oyuneye.
Scene two describes the escapades that transcends in the selection of the political representative for the Aragba ruling house. The author in this section begins painting the true picture of . . .
